A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available for a full-time contracted assignment in Stamford, CT, covering the current school year (CSY). This role is ideal for a certified Special Education Teacher dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Key Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher.
- Experience working with K-12 students with special education needs.
- Willingness to discuss and provide documentation regarding DSAP.
- Ability to manage and support individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities Include
- Delivering specialized instruction tailored to students unique learning requirements.
- Working closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement effective strategies.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
- Participating in team meetings and professional development sessions.
- Managing an assigned caseload (details to be finalized).

Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
